Hi,
Did anyone manage to develop templates for the Gallery module to handle multiple flipbooks in the same page?
Basically have the module multiple times in the same page.

Nuno

That should not be an issue...
Drop a link and lets have a look.

Hi Nicolai,
Just applied to this page 3 paragraphs with the module
http://cm-santana.dev.dynamicweb.pt/Default.aspx?ID=69
If you try to access the middle one, you can't get it to work (standard templates)
We have tried loading the libraries, object holder and array once, but still haven't quite figured out how to get it to work perfectly.

Been there tried that.
The problem is that each flipbook is put in each paragraph, and then are getting an id of Page1.
The ID are used by the script to locate the flipbook.
Iwe tried once (but not used too much time on this though) to alter the js, in order to accept multiple flipbooks pr page, but my experiments stopped cause I was getting problems with the flash only accepting an id called Page01 or something like that.
Its a while ago, so cant remember the details - however my advice to the client was to use the issuu service instead,as it can be embedded on your page...without the same limitation.
Maybe others found the solution?

Hi Nuno,
Try to use v2.2 of SWFObject (/Files/Templates/Gallery/List/PageFlip/js/swfobject.js) instead of v2.1 one, script is attached. I checked your scenario on my local solution. With new script this issue is not reproduced any more.

Hi,
I tried updating the file but the problem still happens. Could you also spare the templates you got working, please?
We tried with the PageFlip.html and PageFullScreen.html templates (importing the new js file)
I'm sure that if it works on your end, it's maybe something stupid I'm not seeing.

Hi,
I used the same templates as you. BTW, if I set PageFlipFullScreen.html for all paragraphs for Gallery Test Page on your site all looks fine. At list I can see three objects on one page. At the same time in case of PageFlip.html only the object from first paragraph is displayed. Is it the same issue you have observed?

Hi,
Well it doesn't work on my side. Yes, I can see three different iPapers, and despite the mouse wheel stopped working (because of some function to control the flipbook) you only see the last one.
Trying to open the flipbook ends up openning the last one :S
Any thoughts?

It is a template/pageflip JS issue... Have to be solved in those files.
Or put the papers on different pages...

Hi Nicolai,
Yes you are right. I will see if I can get this solved and if so will publish the files for the community.

Old thread, but now I have the same problem. Did you all give up, or did any of you find a solution, other than creating a page for each pageflip?
Here's my page:
http://herningelite.dk/Default.aspx?ID=227&Purge=True
and it is the last pageflip, which is shown each time...

Hi
It's registered in bug 8175: Not possible to open more than one instance of PDF's on the same page in pageflip.
Kind regards,
Merethe

Hi Merethe,
Has this bug been fixed yet? If yes, in which version?
If it's just a change in the js-file, could you maybe attach the js-file here?

Hi Martin
I have checked the bug and it is fixed in DefaultEmptyData.
The updated templates in DefaulEmptyData are PageFlipFullscreen.html and PageFlipFullscreenIndex.html (not PageFlip.html) according to the fixed description of the bug.
I have attached the Gallery folder from DefaultEmptyData in our system as zip file.
Kind regards,
Merethe
