Discount only showing after refresh

Do the following to see the error.

1) Go to www.vanityx.com
2) Click order
3) Add someting to the basket
4) Click checkout
5) Enter "john" as promotional code (Without the ")
6) Fill out order information with TEST
7) Click "next".
8) The discount does NOT appear. Now refresh the webpage (F5). The Discount now appears.

What is wrong here?

We have a bug regarding order field discounts (bug 5761).
The problem is that a order field discount is never applied to the order (added to the receipt). The fix for that will be a part of the upcoming Service Release.

I'm not sure if your problem is the same, but I can't reproduce your problem on our developer site (with our service release).
I add the order field value in step 1 and go to step 2 with a cart and the discount is applied and always visible.

Maybe we can't reproduce your problem because we have fixed the order field bug.

Try the hotfix 19.2.0.4 that's available in the Download section:

It should include the fix for the order field discount for cartv2.

It sounds great.

Unfortunately I don't have a clue about what to do with your information :-)

Can you please either describe to me how to install a hotfix or install it for me.

It's only our Service Desk that have access to the network that your solution is placed on, but I have asked one of the supporters to upgrade the solution to hotfix 19.2.0.4.
It should be upgraded in 10 mins.
