Delay in Item values being pulled from the database.

Hi, 

I have some items which have drop down fields which simply get their values from database tables.

Now there is a section in the site where the users update these values. When I update them, they do not appear in the Item field. I have to go in the Item within Management Centre and run the query again within the drop down field. Is there any way to solve this?

Thanks guys, do we know when this will be fixed?

This is very critical to the project that we are delivering. 

I'm just thinking that there should be a work around to this. I mean, I'm sure that other people have faced this same issue before.
