On the calendar event you can specify a registration page - a page containing a Dynamicweb form. The form will include information from the event in the mail it sends and the CSV it generates.

I can see that DWCalendar:Event:Bookingpage template tags makes only a normal link to the page with the form and not a booking link as in the old calendar module.

With the next updatepakckage there will be a new tag: DWCalendar:Event:BookingLink which will give the desired functionallity.

Untill then you can manipulate the template to do more or less the same - insert this piece of HTML to your event template:
