New feature: Showing of price in frontend

Hi!

This is a Rapido related feature request.

It would be great if we had the possibility to toggle showing of Price on/off on Product list and Product page specifically for Variants, without affecting the Single products. Most times there is no valid Price on variant masters, but it may still be required to show prices on products not combined in variants on the same solution. Currently it is supported to remove it on ALL products in the frontend, but this may lead to a poor UX for the customers, who would wanna see the single product prices.

Hi Kristoffer,

Good point. We need to find a new way to handle this in Rapido 4.0

An alternative could be to show a range price for the variants on the master.

Would this work for your use case too?

Range would surely be a step in the right direction, but I'm still convinced that the ability to toggle price for master products and for single products should be seperated.

In the specific case it would be helpful with the range of prices - but the problem has already been solved in a similar manner with cusomization.

We can do both. Rapido 4 will move to the new product catalog which has price ranges for both the masters and each level of variants if depth is more than one.

I.e. we can show that "T-shirt" will cost 100-119 or we can show that "T-shirt red" will cost 109-116 (because different sizes could have different prices)
