Default list view setting in Rapido

Hi,

I'm trying to change the default list view setting to gridview on the product catalog and remove the other options (list and details). I Have unchecked the list and details options and checked grid and selected grid in the default list view dropdown - see attached. And I Have as suggested clear the browser cache.

On the product catalog page the products are displayed in a grid view as intended but when using the facets the view changes to list view. Why will the setiing get overridden - am I missing another configuration setting somewhere?

Hi Søren

I have tested this on multiple versions of Rapido. And, as far as I can test, it works perfectly on Rapido 2.1 Is that the one you use? 

Browser cache can be a little tricky, as browsers handles it differently and how great it is cleaned, depends on how the cleaning is done. In this case, I think it is important that the cache is cleaned really well. If you use chrome, the most secure way to do this is:

  • Go to "History" Ctrl+H  
  • Click "Clear browsing data"
  • Select, at least "Cookies and other site data"
  • Click "Clear data"

I hope this solves it.

Hi Karsten,

Thanks. I'm on a 2.0 version of Rapido.

Have tried your trick in chrome - but didn't change anything. Looks like I have to upgrade the Rapido version.
