Confirmation mail form and add user to group

Hi,

After filling in the form on https://istwente.azurewebsites.net/istwente/admissions/how-to-apply/application-form I do not receive the confirmation mail, despite all my settings are OK (i think).

Users that fill in the form are also not added to the groups mentioned (they need to be added with E-mail permission). Also here settings are OK I think.

Can someone please help me?

Hello Gerard,

Yes, I've reproduced the issue. Looks like a bug or problem with SMTP settings. Anyway I've created new TFS # 51259 and assigned to our development.

Hi Olga,

Thanks for your reply. In this post we mentioned 2 issues:

- Confirmation mail seems not to be send
- Users are not added to groups (with E-mail permission)

To which of those two is the bug related? And what about the other point?

The IST website needs to go live end of June with these functions working, can you let me know if they are solved by then?

Hello Gerard,

Yes, I didn't miss the second point. The bug was created on 2 these issues. We will let you know when the fixes will be available, for sure it will be before the end of June.

Hi Gerard

The issue has been resolved in DW 9.4.13 available in the Releases section. Also be aware that the Email permission field is not sufficient for GDPR compliance. You should set up a consent activity with a corresponding checbox field instead (see https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/content/apps/forms-for-editors#sideNavTitle1-2-3 )
