Cascading product retrieval

On your sales demo site, you have product category Bikes (0 products) with sub-category Mountain bikes and other sub--categories. However, when you click on Bikes in the mega menu, all products from all sub-categories are displayed. How is the setup for this?

When I do what I think is the same on my site, I get 0 products in my equivalent top level group.

You are probably using the groupids column in your query - that is a list of groups the product is a direct member of.

If you use the parentgroupids column, it is the group the product is direct member of and all of its parents. So change to that one - see dump.

With that setup you can also do ?groupid=group1,group2 - eventhough, then navigation will not reflect the groups since there are more than one.
