Sort order images and assets on import

Hi,

How do you define the sort order of images in an asset category on import? I'm defining asset categories and using a scheduled task (Digital assets checking on products).

Expected behaviour: sorting alphabetical on filename

Reality: seems random

Hi Davy,

When use "Digital assets checkin", all assets will be set with same sortorder key ..

You can in the UI, set the sortorder as you want ..

If you always want alphabetic, it could be controled on the tag, used in frontend

Thanks for your response. I want to avoid using manual sorting so I should use the tag as you explain. But this means the tag needs to be enriched manually as well? (Which I want to avoid).

Hi Davy,

It was the TAG, used in Template, that you could modify to sort assets alphabetics

Hi Davy,

Sorting of assets must be done in the "Assets management panel", by "drag-drop" inside a Assets category

Choose asset and drop it on the position you want ..
