Publish to channels bug via product detail view?

Hi,

When I'm in PIM in List view I can publish products to my e-commerce channel. But when I'm on the detail page of a product and then try to do the same, the value isn't saved. It seems like a bug? Will report to QA and get back.

Hi Davy

Done some testing and this is not a problem in Dynamicweb Core Code.
Tested both on your site and local version 9.15.11

Creating a new product in PIM on your site and Publish works just fine. (Check Prod4)
So my guess is the problem is related to your products.
Perhaps the problem is ProductId that contain spaces. If you import products, and ProductId is part of the import data, make sure that the ProductId contains Aa-Zz or 0-9 ONLY, and nothing else. Do NOT use space, comma, dot or any special character.

Please reach out to Support care@dynamicweb.com if the ProductId correction does not fix the problem

Kind Regards

Hi Kristian,

I can confirm spaces in the ID caused it.

Thanks!

Hi guys,

Any updates on this?

We´re running into this as well, for products with spaces and / in their ids, might be happening to more products.

It works to publish them from the list view in PIM, but not from the details view.

Dynamicweb version 9.15.7

Best regards,
Arnór Geir
