Working with Reference fields are in many cases very useful for users, since they only have to do the translation of values or fieldname one place, if they do it correctly.
DW10 vs. DW9 no longer have the "Force values to linked fields" (with a warning to the user they where about to updated the linked fields) and DW10 update all reference fields regards translation of the fieldname vs. DW9 which only do translation of one field at time.
In cases where users have to do the translation of fieldnames in a category group with a mix of 'normal' category fields and reference fields, there is no longer an option to translate selected fields and you will not get a warning if you are about to translate a reference field. This can end up with wasted hours of fieldname translations and frustrated users!
Using the Translations option on the Action button menu in a Category group, should either not show the Reference fields in the Translation Grid -or- warn the user if they begin translation of a reference fieldname -or- make the reference fieldname read-only. Or what do you prefer?
