Completeness rule uses unused product fields bug?

Hi team

I’ve defined a shared query and linked a completeness rule. This query is created so a user can fill in all technical information. Hence, all technical fields (100+)  are added to the completeness rule.

Important to note that we have a lot of product fields, and always only some of them apply to a specific product.

When enriching a product, the completeness stays on 0% and maybe in some cases reaches maybe 2 or 3% while all fields are filled in. This is because the completion rule takes into account all product fields assigned to that rule. (Confirmed by Care.)

I would like to register this as a bug, because it's inconsistent with the standard behaviour used throughout DynamicWeb. For Example, you only see product fields of a category, if it is linked to that product.

Hi Davy,

The completeness is based on the number of fields applied to the completion rule in use.

If your applied completion rule has 100 fields, and you have filled 25 of these, your completeness will be 25%. This is regardsless of the number of fields you may have applied to the Multi Edit View. If you to your Multi Edit View have applied 500 fields, and you have filled 400 of these, but none of them are the fields from your comptetion rule, your completeness will be 0%.

Hope the above makes sense! :)
