Hi,

Is it possible to bulk edit assets in asset categories?

Hello Aki,

- I don't think you can remove assets with the bulk edit function, but adding new assets using the bulk edit function is possible.

The not so user friendly trick is to hover the asset you have selected to upload, and then click on the small icon I have highlighted on the image. Then can you choose the asset category, where you want to place the asset.

Seems like that feature adds the selected images/documents to that the selected asset caegory and deletes any existing assets.

Hello Aki,

- what DW version are you using, since I haven't seen that kind of failures before (or is it because I only have been using it once per asset category, can't recall).

Hi Michael,

False alarm. I just tried and that is not what happend. I was a bit too fast to forward a comment from a customer.

But if I choose for example the Asset Category "PDF Drawing" the image is assigned to that cateogry AND product images. Maybe that is by design but I would of course want to be able to add images to a selected asset category.
