Assets and Channels

Is there no connection between Assets and Channels? I'm thinking about "Assets - Assets Categories" and "Channel - Field Display Groups" and how do I get the content from an assets category presented in a display group?

Hi Kim,
As far as I know (mostly from DW9) , you can only add the entire Assets section to a FieldDisplayGroup.

I believe that your expectation makes a lot of sense for a feature request.

Hi Kim,

There are in the core DW10, no connections between Assets and Channels ..

If the Channel are used for Swift, it's possible to detect which Assets categories there should be visible on that Site.

If the Channel are used to Feeds data, you need to defined it in your Feed-template, which Assets-categories there should be included
