The three dots (..) nightmare

I'm not a big fan of the three dots (..) that are used everywhere in DW10, as they often are 'hidden' due to many data columns in the lists, e.g. product lists, configuration of data integrations, etc. In some cases, it also causes challenges when trying to find the three dots (...), because you end up with 'blank' lines + once you have used a function, you will be sent back to start and you can then begin scroll to the right again...

Can't something be done to make DW10 more user-friendly?

An easy solution would be to give users the option to choose whether they want the three dots (...) on the left or on the right.

Silence is a kind of acceptance, I guess.  Or is it really only me, that is struggling with the interface?

I agree with you, Michael. It could definitely be more obvious

Hi guys,

I am also on the same boat. The current interface constantly frustrates me.

The lack of right-click menus on elements and the constant hiding of the three dots make working with the interface very frustrating.
Also, in some screens, you don't have an obvious way to get back to the previous step/level/option; you have to close the element and open it up again.
It can definitely be improved.

+1 about the interface.
And often you need to use many clicks to edit an element.

HI, Same here could not agree more, but i would say the three dots is only the begining of the isues. Has any one tried working with the Email marketing UI for example.

Hi Michael and Anders
Thanks for the feedback. It is one that we have experienced our self, and we need a UI fix.

We have discussed whether, the left side is a better place, or a dedicated coloumn let's say column #4 as DevOps does it. And they take it a step further and only make it visible on hover or active.

Hi Lars,

I am afraid Microsoft was never good at usability. I am not sure if you should use them as an example.

I am sure you can find better examples :)
