Send user details - bulk

For DW10 - Is there any simple way for the customer to send customer details in bulk to a group of customers. This would be useful for a new site when we import many existing customers and would like to onboard them in batches after testing.

Currently all I can see is that we need to go to each customer. Click on an "edit" link. Then use the "Aciton" menu to "send user details".

In DW9 we used to be able to select multiple users and then right click and "send details" to all users in bulk.

Perhaps I am missing something here?

Hi Nuno,

Thanks for the response. I don't have any issue with the email template. It is just that I need to be able to send to a group of users at one time. It is not about allowing users to use the password reset function. They don't yet know their login username, so we need to send out a welcome email.

This is the functrion in DW9 that I am missing in DW10.

Hi Jon,

 

I understand you have no issues, and I don't disagree that DW9 could be useful. I was trying to give you a way out :)

 

To be honest, I never used that feature in DW9, and since my scenarios were always related to integrations, we relied on a smart search associated with a reoccuring Email Marketing email to send the email automatically (or the customer created user groups to send chunks of emails similar to what you are doing)

 

You'll have to wait for the Core platform team or submit a feature request in https://github.com/dynamicweb/DynamicWeb/issues
