Scheduled tasks saved as XML not upgraded

Hi there,

I have a site that we are converting to DW10. I noticed that none of the scheduled tasks saved as XML (as opposed to stored in the database) are visible anymore. Is there a way to import these into DW 10 or do I need to recreate them manually?

Hi,

In the action menu you have the option to both export to and import from XML files.

I tried that by import a scheduled task of type "Import data with custom request" from the DW 9 solution, but other than the name and schedule nothing is added. Is that expected? Or should I expect to see the connection details, job to execute and so on as a sub task?

Hi,

The structure of the scheduled task has changed with the addition of subtasks. So specific schduled tasks using add-ins are not converted into the new format. So it is limited in these scenarios what you get when you import them. It might be easier just to recreate them in the new scheduled task structure.
