PIM in DW10

Hello,

I am interested in knowing where the PIM (Product Information Management) module is located in the new DW 10 version.

I see that there is a "warehouse" section under "products,"

but I cannot find a specific section for PIM anywhere.

Hi Pamela,

The Products area is the new place to manage product information. In DW10, we've separated managing products from managing commerce, which is why you see both Products and Commerce areas.

Is there anything in particular you're missing from PIM (DW9) that you cannot find in DW10?

I might want to add a couple of things

  • Your license will control how many features you have available in Products - so all the PIM related features inside the product area will be hidden if your license does not include PIM
  • The warehouses section in your DW10 products tree is there for compatibility to DW9. In DW10 you work with channels and datamodels

Now it is clearer to me how it works on the DW10 version and where everything is located.
