Hi guys,

I am testing out a situation with a website with multiple languages.

I see that the pages are created on all website languages but I cannot see any way of switching between languages other than switching the entire website.

Is this by design or am I missing a setting?

Thank you,

Adrian

Hi Adrian

Currently that is how it is in DW10.

10.17 will have a language selector on the page it self:

Hi Nicolai,

Thank you. That's all I needed to know.

Hi Nicolai,

I just realised that we might need a similar option on the products as well.
So far (10.15.1) I can only display the default language AND an additional language. I don;t see any clear way of selecting a specific language of the product:

I would expect to have a specific language switcher on the product. Maybe this one:

What do you think?

Thank you,
Adrian

Hello Adrian,

From a product or product list you can add and removes languages from the 'Action' button:

Hi Michael,

Thank you for the answer. I am aware of that option. It's just not usable to make a few clicks for switching to another language.

Moreover, what I am looking for is a Switch to a language and not a side-by-side display. Even if I add a new language, the detail will always show the default language and the additionally selected language(s). Which is not what I am looking for.

Not to mention that the additional menu options are unclear. What would "Remove language" mean? Will it delete the language from the product? Will it remove it from the interface? For me, it is unclear and prone to confusion.

I know I can eventually get to a specific detail page of a specific language but that means that I have to go back to the list, add a language filter and then click on the product. Not usable. Unless I am missing something.

Thank you,
Adrian
