Hi there,
In DW 9 you could quickly clone a scheduled task wtih the Copy option on the right-click menu. This is missing in DW 10. Can it be added back?

Hi Imar,
It shouldn't be a problem to add a copy functionality to the Scheduled Tasks. Could you explain a bit more about the scenarios you need it for? This is the first time we've received this request, and I'd like to understand the workflow so we can address the root cause in the best way possible.

We often have imports for multiple companies. Since we don't have an option to parameterize scheduled tasks we need to have separate copies of the task. The work flow is as follows:
1. Create an activity from an XML file
2. Create a scheduled task using something like "Import data with custom request" Set up things like:
2a. Set the URL
2b. Set the password
2c. Add a subtask pointing to the activity
2d. Set up the schedule
2e. ...
3. Clone the task created under #2 and change just the service URL and password
With a "Copy" option I can skip all the steps listed under #2
An alternative use case is for different types of content like Products, Stock and Users. For the above, that would mean cloning the task, leaving all service details in place and just changing the Activity it runs.
