Assign assets to products

Hi guys,

I have just started an internal demo project from scratch (meaning no default settings, data or anything).

I am using DW 10.16.5 with a trial licence for ecommerce.
I have defined a few Asset categories and a test product and tried to assign assets to it.
But I cannot find any way of doing it. When I enter the details of the product in the actions menu I get this:

Is there an additional setting I am supposed to know about for activating the Assets?

Hi Adrian

You can access the management of Assets from the overview screen of the new product.

I will talk to Søren about adding Assets to the actions on edit product

Hi Nicolai,
If the product is new, there is no Asset management in the overview.
I believe this may be related to PIM functionality not being active.

Can you please provide a screenshot?

I just created a new product and it has the asset section in overview.

Hi Nicolai,

It is strange. Yesterday, before configuring everything, I could only see the details tab:

Now, I can also see the Assets tab.
This is very strange and it can probably be related to another setting I made in the meantime. Like image patterns or missing image settings.

It's very hard to debug once you check all the necessary settings :) I should have added a screenshot of that overview yesterday.

Hi Nicolai,
I believe there was a different issue yesterday.
Because of the currency issue, I could only enter the "Edit" mode. And in the "Edit" mode, there is no Asset management. You can only see the "General" and "Custom" tabs.
Maybe it's worth adding an "Assets" tab here by default?
