I have a question about the SMTP configuration.
In this field we can enter the SMTP server, and we are doing this exactly as described in the manual:
But we are unsure about the Username and Password fields: What are we supposed to enter here?
The description says:
• Username — Username for authentication on the SMTP server
• Password — Password for authentication on the SMTP server
But how do we know what the correct username and password are?
Follow-up question:
Can this cause issues in the future if we leave these fields empty or if incorrect information is entered?
For example, will mailing stop working if authentication is required?
