Data integration - Add missing column mappings once

Hi,

When importing data from a source (excel) to a destination (Ecom/Dynamicweb), the source and/or destination schema may change. The update schema changes button works perfectly to identify and push the changes in order to add the new mappings manually.

I have a situation where 40 custom product fields are created and need to be added to the mapping. Now if the source file, in this case excel, has the columns (with the system names of the productfield), is it possible to add the 40 product fields instantly after checking the schema changes?

Right now we need to manually add all 40, one by one, to the mappings. The souce and destination column name is equal, so it should be possible to add the automatically.

With roughly 20 import task ready to be changes, this is quite an undertaking. (editing the XML file directly is also an option, but an option in the inteface might be nice)

Cheers!

Kind regards,

Barend Mosch, Bluedesk

Hi Barend,

Are you aware of the action to add multiple columns? This makes it easy to add the new columns and does also try do make a 1-1 mapping with the source.

Ooh, apologies. I totally missed the action list at the 3 dots on the table.

I was looking at the 'Action' button at the top right.

Thanks Rasmus, this will indeed help
