Installed apps not saved after upgradind

Hi guys,

I have recently upgraded a solution from DW 10.16 to DW 10.20.
What I have noticed is that all custom apps installed in DW 10.16 were kept installed after the upgrade, but the Live Integration app was not installed, and I had to install it again. Is this the expected behavior? Do I need to reinstall all standard apps after each upgrade? Is there a setting I am missing?

Hi Adrian,

If this site is hosted in the DynamicWeb cloud, we have a functionality, which will remove incompatible add-ins. You can read more about it here: https://doc.dynamicweb.dev/documentation/fundamentals/setup/hosting/dynamicweb-cloud.html#handling-incompatible-add-ins

So if everything is compatible and there's no problems, you shouldn't have to do anything when you do an upgrade to keep the add-ins installed

Hi Steffen,

It is a dev solution hosted on our server. We don't have any logic for removing Apps.
And it should not be a question of compatibility since it's the LiveIntegration app provided by Dynamicweb. All my custom-developed apps were fine.
