Hiya,
In the PIM, when combining products in variants there is a peculiar scenario where the product that is assigned as the master gets its image removed on the variant level. This results in an image for the other variants, the master level but not the variant which is the same as the master.
For products with the same image this is not a problem since merge type can be of help here. But sometimes this is not the case. See the screenshots below:
Situation before:
- See product PR956300071100 assigned as master
- All products have an image, in this case all the same one, but this is not always the case
Situation after assigning combinations and saving:
- See that the image is saved on all variants and master except the variant product that was assigned as the master.
- This variant is still relevant and might contain a different image
Can someone indicate if this is intended or a bug?
