I heard about the new Extranet User Apps on our workshop in Aarhus, and I can see they are possible to enable in the Feature Management.

Are they ready to use on a new project?

Yes, but see Product Update | Dynamicweb 10 Developer Documentation and note the templates for your reference would be in the Swift 2 template set
