Either I misunderstand the purpose of this, or it does not work.
I have a datamodel "Printer Engine" wih a Datset:
Then a query that selects products with this data model:
Next a Dynamic Workspace, that has the Data Model as level, with "Assign on create" is true:
When navigating to the dynamic workspace and adding a new product from there, the new product is not attached to the data model, which I think it should have been?
