Hi,

what is the best way to see changes immediately on the site, when changing the default page template under website, for example?

Unlike DW9, DW10 expects us to manage:

  • IIS level cache → recycle.

  • Temp files → delete /Files/Temp/.

  • Delivery API → use ?refresh=true.

Where is the golden flush button =) I only have access to /admin

I do not understand your bullets :-).

If you change the default page template on the website, it should automatically update - otherwise that could be a bug.

You can reset most caches from Settings: https://doc.dynamicweb.dev/manual/dynamicweb10/settings/system/developer/cache.html - in the action menu you can reset all caches or you can choose which one to reset. E.g. AreaService and PageService as they are related to websites and their pages.

Hi Nicolai,

thank you very much. I'll do some resets of caches through the cache page options. (just what I was looking for)

Regarding the default page template - I'll send it to care...

Regarding the bullits. I didn't understand either. It was information from ChatGPT =)
