RTE - Internal links gets target="_blank" attribute

Hi,

Working on a new solution in DW10 (10.8.4). When I make an internal link to a page, the links still gets the target="_blank" attribute. This should just be for when inserting external links. Is there a setting somewhere I can't find? Or is it a bug? If so, when will it be fixed? We have a couple of solutions getting ready for launch, where we need a fix for this before launching.

Just to clarify 100% - I did use the internal link picker (and not the one where you can link externally). See attached screenshot.

Hi,

no a setting to handle the attribute for internal links to fix it now, it will be removed by task #21756. Thanks.

Hi Oleg,

Sounds great. Any idea of which release it will be part of?

This is part of a link editor rewrite for 10.10, #20889

A simple workaround is to make a replace of the output in the template to remove the target blank.

Yeah, we don't want to parse all of our RTE content through regex to replace stuff. When is 10.10 released? :-)
