Support for Azure Scale Out?

Dear Dynamicweb,

 

Does the current solution DW9/DW10 support the scaling out feature by Azure, where the App Service Plan is set to automatically add new instances based on the load?

And if so, what should we take into consideration?

Hi Anders,

 

Did you ever figure this out? We're also looking into other options (not only but also) within Azure to do better scalling.

Dear Nuno,

 

For now DW does not support the "scale out" feature in Azure, so we are going with a more regular load balancing setup, still in Azure, but with a fixed set of instances.

But I do really hope that we will see better scaling options in DW10 :-)

Ok, thanks for letting me know.

 

I haven't looked into DW10 yet, but for sure we'll want to have better scalling options so we can better catter to more demanding customers.
