Hello forum,

- should it be possible to restrict access to PIM feeds from a URL using the standard 'Permission' from PIM backend (see print screen below)?  Currently everyone with the URL have access.

Eg. https://mydomain.com/dwapi/Feeds/GetFeedOutput?Id=1&languageId=LANG1&currencyId=USD&shopId=SHOP1&LoadVariantInfoOnVariants=False

Hi Michael,

You cannot. There is a similar thread here: Password protected feed? (dynamicweb.com)

I have managed to adjust the template of the feed to use the permissions (attached). You will have to create a User group for each feed you want to protect but I believe that is an acceptable workaround.

In my example, I am using a separate Token parameter (which is in fact based on the UserID), you can adjust it to use the default UserID parameter that is generated by default in the UserFeed.

Thanks Adrian, I'll take a closer look at your code to see if I can reused it.
