Only first Product Unit are available in the Price Matrix

In the price matrix it's not possible to select between all the units from the list of Product Units created in Settings > Ecommerce > Product catalog > Product units.  Tested on DW9.8.8 and DW9.12.9.

The intension is to have 2 different prices on the product in the price matrix, one price for 1 item (piece) and another price if you take 6 items (box).

Am I misisng something here?

Hi,

The product seems not to have stock units added via Stock to use it in price martix (only Piece seems to exists), so provide them first of all. I've checked 9.12.9 and saw the feature works OK.

Hello Oleg,

- and thanks for the clearification even I think the naming of 'Unit' in the price matrix should be improved by calling it 'Stock unit'.

In some of the newer versions of DW we also have 'Units', but how are they linked to the price matix, since we here can define in which units the product can be sold?

PS. if you in stock units have defined two stock locations: location A have defined 'Unit' as PCS and location B have defined 'Unit' as BOX, then will it in the price matrix be possible to select between PCS and BOX no matter which stock location you have selected.

If you only add BOX or PCS to the price matrix, location is not taken into account when finding the price. But you can add both stock location and unit to the price and control it like that.

Otherwise you have to ensure that your frontend will only allow the user to select the correct combination of location and unit - so that BOX cannot be selected with Location B. But you might not even have location in the frontend.

Hi,

I've created new task 6694 to update the label to 'Stock unit' as suggested above, it will be fixed if approved. Please, refer to manual regarding using 'Unit' matrix in product edit form.
