Exception in Pim Feed

I am getting the following exception in the pim feed that causes the product category fields options not to render and therefore not the rest of the options either. It does not matter which provider I choose. I cannot see anything off with the data in the tables EcomProductCategory and EcomProductCategoryField.

Also, whenever I choose some of the available options for Product custom fields for example, the selected values are not preserved when I save the feed.

This project is running DW 9.12.3

Hello Unnsteinn,

- I have seen something similar before, and back then the reason was that a field was used in a query that was no longer available in the solution.

Try review your queries in the repository and check if everything is ok.

Thanks for the reply but I forgot to mention that it has nothing to do with the queries, I have selected none in the query field, saved and the error still persists.

I still think the lists of fields in the different selection lists are linked to the repositories, so I would check my repositories.

Like I said, the error persist even when there is nothing selected in the query field, and the query has been stripped of all expressions and tested in a product catalogue app where all of the products are rendered correct. What I suspected was some errors in the data in those tables but I could no find anything that looked incorrect.

Thanks for your effort though.

Hi Unnsteinn,

It seems somthing wrong with data on that solution..

Could you try to acces and press "Save" on all your CategoryGroup you have .. (just for check if something are missing in Database)

If you then still have problems with setting up Feeds, please contact our Support, then they can look at it ..

I tried opening all of the category groups from Settings / Ecommerce / Product Catalog / Product Categories and saving them, the error still persists. I noticed that there is a product category with no fields, I don´t want to delete it if somewhere it is still used and the system name might be referenced, at least not at this hour. Do you think that it could have anything to do with this?

Hi Unnstein

The exception and the empty product category could very well be related. It is a null exception on an enumerable (which the list of fields in a category is).

So probably something we need to look into. You can try to add a field to the category and not add any value to it.

Deleting the category did not solve anything unfortunately. I will just contact the support team.
