Saving a description does not work

Some bad data was somehow added to some desctiption fields, possibly during an import.

I am trying to remove some of this manually, but deleting the content is not persisted during a save of the product,

Update.

I'm seeing that the description is saved and includes the " EDIT TEXT" button from the editor.

Yes, I think this happens because of the broken html in your value. Will see if we can work around that. But you may want to do these updates on db
