Import clothingsimple.xlsx to PIM

So... now I've jumped to the PIM training and have reached the part where I import products.

I downloaded the clothingsimple.xlsx from the trainings section, found my PIM group and then Import products. DW recognizes the excel provider, but cannot find anything inside the file

I have no clue if this is the clothingsimple-file that is corrupt, me being stupid or a bug. I did nothing to the file after downloading it.

Latest DW, fresh install on localhost

noooo.

Is there a training server og possible to get a training install somewhere? I cannot finish this training due to some these errors (I have the Oledb installed, but it still doesn't work and I am not a technician and have no desire to be one).

It is really hard to do traning when I don't know if it is server, network, data, me, user documentation or a bug that is stopping me from progressing :(

Hi Siv,

I have just tested on the Dynamicweb 9.9, and my PIM import detects very well, that there's something in the ClothingSimple2020.xlsx. So it seems like you are missing something in your server.

I don't know if you have played around with the DataIntegration before, but if you try to set up a data integration job, using the ExcelProvider as the source and EcomProvider as the destination, then maybe it can give a better error message about what's actually wrong.

Best regards,

Steffen
