Missing 'main' image on products in

Hi

Not totally sure if its rapido related, but in 9.4.0 9.4.1 and 9.4.2 I'm having the following issue (see image)

When selecting 4 other images, the first one is never shown, so it's not a faulty image. The image path is empty in the URL for the first image.
When checking a different store it does work.. This would direct me to being a configuration setting.. I checked the website settings and everything is equal.. Also the errors keep stacking massivly.

Also the images are not shifting when hovering over them.. In the second shop they are working fine .

Hi Ambert,

Are you using Alternate images?

Have you defined Image patterns for the default image?

Hi Adrian,

thanks for replying.

I've checked the website settings, and the warehouse setting, and 'alternative images' is disabled (Also I could not find what that option does?

It happens for every image in this store, I could not find any 'general' image pattern setting that might conflict with it, only the pattern setting on a specific product.

Hi Ambert,

If you don't have patterns defined already, the images will be retrieved from the database where you would add them manually.
If you want to use the Patterns instead, you should define some.

You can set them in the Shop Settings after you check the  "Use Image patterns". You will find a pattern for Default Image and you can define several alternative patterns for alternative images.

Hi Adrian,

As you can see in my screenshot, images are added, but only the first image(standard) is faulty. I'm not using any form of image patterns. I go to the PIM, and upload a series of images, and select a 'standard'.

So I think image patterns are not really related to this :-)

Hi Ambert,

You are right. If you upload images manually, then Image Patterns should not have any implication in this.

It can be a Rapido issue or a bug in 9.4.x branch. What version of Rapido are you using? I think there were some reports of Image issues on older Rapido versions.

I've tried 9.4, 9.4.1 and 9.4.2, 9.4 had some bugs, but they seem to've been fixed in 9.4.1.

Just think its odd that one shop has the issue, and one shop hasn't, with the same code.. So i'd think it would be a configuration problem, but so far, I can't find anything related

There are also image patterns on the paragraph settings and in settings in that version of DW.

Hi Nicolai,

I haven't found it on the 'website settings' on the 'ProductPage' tab, yet. Could you perhaps enlighten me a bit more as to where to find it?

On the Paragraph settings: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/ecommerce/frontend/product-catalog#2732

And in the Settings -> Ecommerce -> Advanced configurations -> Images: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/ecommerce/product-catalog/product-images#8210

Not that you have a very old version and the docs are updated quite a bit in relation to image patterns.

Hi NIcolai,

thanks for the reply, I've checked the paragraph on which I added the Catalog App, and it seems I don't have these options there.

Also no settings are applied in the Ecommerce->Advanced.

I've tried copying a catalog app from the working site to the non-working, but that also did not change anything

Just to clarify

For this entire site:

On catelog apps, no images are shown
On product detail page, the first image is not shown

For a different site (same code), everything works.

This still leads to me as a website-settings based configuration, but I can't find any differences..yet..

Hi Ambert

I think you need to create a case with support so they can check out your setup and help locate the missing link...
