Fields not visible in lists

Hi guys,

Another strange behavior that is experienced by one of our customers when working in PIM. I could not reproduce it on my account and I could not find a solution to fix it on his end.

When accessing any group under the Warehouse, the list of products does not display any information. The rows are there but there is no field displayed (see attachment).

And from time to time, after saving information on a product, the user gets a Yellow error that is gone after 20-30 seconds.

I have uploaded both screenshots.

The solution is 9.9.2. I am suspecting some invalid fields saved somewhere in the user settings since none of the other users are experiencing it but I have no idea where to start looking.

The empty fields list was happening also in the queries but after opening the query and selecting some fields, the list started to display properly. One more reason to suspect some invalid field definition for the user.

Maybe someone else can point me to a place where I can reset the user definitions or cache.

Thank you,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

I ran into this earlier this week. Right-click the table header and add columns to it. Not sure how, but sometimes you get no columns and that's the outcome. Maybe a failsafe or fallback to prevent this.

Hi Nuno,

Thank you very much.

I feel so stupid for not thinking about it :)

There is still the issue with the error which is something different I suppose.

Thank you very much.

Hi Adrian,

Don't feel stupid. If I had to pay 1 euro everytime I feel stupid for something like that, I'd paid enough for a house :)

About the error, I have no valuable input.

Hi Adrian,

I have looked at you system "http://decocenter.dotfusion.ro/", and cannot reproduce the error ..

But I can se, that you on Queries use the PIM-index as source, and do not have any AutoUpdate index set on your "Warehouse" .. that's not going to work ..

In PIM, when using Queries, you need to specify a Update-index on Warehouse. Normaly use the Product index, because it's also used in Ecommerce.

If you get the "Yellow error" again, please send it to support@dynamicweb.com

Hi Soren,

Thank you. The error has happened so far only for a single user. That's why I was suspecting some caching on the visible fields for his User. I have never encountered it unless that user made some change first that would result in the yellow error.

I will send the error to support if this happens again and I will set an Update index on the warehouse.

Thank you,
Adrian
