Promotion products

Hi,

We extended the "PromotionProducts" item of Rapido to create landing pages for special promotions. Each page has a "PromotionProducts" item to display the products of that promotion. It works nicely, but we miss some features:

To select products by group, PIM query or other criteria. Currently, only the one-by-one selection of products is enabled, as implemented in the "Product" field type of items. How could we select products by other criteria? (for instance, the products of a PIM query)
To display facets to filter the products of the promotion. It could be achieved modifying the template? or there would be a better strategy?
At the standard product page of the Ecom, we want to highlight the promoted products. Is it possible to access the list of produts of the promotions from outside the promotion page?

When you define the product field on the item type, you can choose between a product selector, a group selector or a combined product and group selector. It does not support queries because it cannot handle parameters etc.

Which are the types you mention for a group selector or a combined product and group selector? There are no "Group" or "Combined product and group" types in my solution (DW 9.8). Only the "Product" type, that let you to select products but not to select groups.

About the other questions, is it possible to display facets on those selected products? or to acces those products from outside the page?
