Set IPTC-data on files

Hi,

In the 'Downloads' section of Rapido, there is a facet list named 'Metadata', which supposedly refers to IPTC-keywords on the files. Is there any way to add these keywords to the files throug the backend? Another facet list could be generated based on the meta tags that can be added from the backend, but the way these values are stored in the backend is 'TagLabel1 TagValue1 TagLabel2 TagValue2 (...)', which is not favorable.

An example of an IPTCKeywords value in the index is 'HQ;Dynamicweb;Buildings;Office', which seems to work great to generate a facet list. Therefore, we would like to be able to add these values ourselves without the need for external software.

Dynamicweb does not support editing of IPTC data from the backend. You would need an external tool for that.

If I understand your issue with Dynamicweb metatags correct, that will be fixed in 9.8 (TFS#69543) - the same issue is discussed here:

9.8 is due next Tuesday.
