Importing dynamic articles

Is there an existing method to import dynamic articles from a data source like Excel? The Item Provider doesn't support item types within item types (the Paragraph within the dynamic article).

Is there a recommended solution on the platform for that now?

Hi Scott

We currently have no good answer for this. If this is just a one timer, cut and paste is probably the fastest - if you need it to run everyday or so, creating something custom that uses the API is the best bet.

Hi Nicolai,

Ok, at least I know. It would be great to have something like that for 9.8. But I realize that it would be pretty tricky to create a dynamic UX to support this situation.

I'll be ok in the meantime then. For one situation it's a one-time import, so I can import directly into the tables and script the relationship tables. For another situation that has a unique need, I can create a table script.
