Variants List in PDP

The Variants List, configured for Product page, is always showing the main product repeatedly, instead of the Variants (see image attached)

I noticed the template VariantsList.cshtml does not use the {{#VariantOptions}} in Handlebars, which it is the Node that contains the variant products information.

Also tried to fix it myself but had a hard time finding a resolution frown

Can you please verify, and let me know if there is a known fix for that loop?

Hi Lara

What fix are you refering to? Do you have a TFS number?

You can see a list of open Rapido bugs here: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/rapido/download/known-bugs/bugs-in-rapido

The next release of Rapido will be on September 24th, so it will be the earliest possible fix time.

Sorry about the inconvenience.

Hi Nicolai. I don't have a TFS number, and don't see the issue refered in the open Rapido bugs.

Do you need more information, or time to check the issue reported in this thread, in 22/08 ?

Hi Lara

I am trying to understand the exact problem here. It is much easier to test on product 10059 Here it is easy to see on the images that the products are different. But you may have a point in that some of the products in the list looks the same. They are actually not, as the size are different. And yes, this is not easy to understand for the user. We need to print out the full variant name on each list item. I have created bug #68768 for this.

Does that also solve your issue?

Hello Karsten, thank you.

I isolated the problem in my solution, but noticed that it seems resolved in latest Rapido version - the repeated variants where only when a variant was set as default in a product, but not when it had no default variant.

Best Regards,

Lara

Hi,

We found the issue. It was a checkbox in Settings > Ecommerce > Advanced > General that was different from Rapido. It needs to be unchecked to work seamlessly with or without a default variant.
