How does "Collect all downloads" in website settings work?

Hi,

Refer to this link. It seems that when "Collect all downloads" is checked in the website settings, the product details is hidden. 2 questions:

1) What is the functionality of this configuration?
2) Is this a bug or a confugration issue?

Hello Afi,

1) Checkbox "Collect all downloads" makes possible to toggle the two different setups.

Setup 1: Collects all the documents in the Download tab, even though there are placed in different product category fields.
Setup 2: Leaves the documents in their own product category fields, so you can have two tab with their own specific download section.

2) This is a bug. I've created new TFS #63329 for solving it. We will inform you when it's fixed.

Hi Olga,

Relating to this issue, when I add files to "Documents and Files" for a product as shown in the image, it does not show in frontend. 2 questions:

1) Is this a bug?

2) How do I add multiple documents for products for customers to download?

For your info, the file that I added in the image was a PDF file.
