Site is displaying default colors

Hi,

After I copied a website (Structure and Paragraphs), all colors for that site are using default colors and are not using the colors set in the website settings. Why is this so? Below is the url of the copied website.

If it is Rapido 3.1 and you are using color swatches, you probably have to set the five base colors again.

Hi Afi

I have already reported this bug (TFS #62559) . Right now the default color swatches is not saved and therefor the min.css is empty.
The result of this is that it displays greyish colors on frontend.

However

  1. Try to click on the pencil icon beside the color swatch
  2. input new hex code on brand colors from 1-5 click save
  3. Save the entire websitesettings
  4. Now the colors are saved and you should see the proper colors on frontend as well

Hi Afi

This is because you use quotation marks (") on copyright text. It does not like it this. So I have changed it from (") to (') . and now website settings is working

Similar case here, this works for me. Thanks for the help.

I have two questions:

  • I tried changing other website settings but it didn't upate the min.css. Is the min.css updated only by updating certain settings? or all the setting update the min.css (and this case was just a bug)?
  • How could I force the update of the min.css? I.e. is there any file or command that I can execute to force the compilation of the css of the website?

Regards,
Tomas

Hi Tomas

The min.css will be generated automatically - but browser cache might be an issue. If it does not update (get a new timestamp) something has gone wrong. Check out the event log in Dynamicweb. (Settings, System, Eventlog)
