Display subgroups as thumbnails and links

Hi guys,

i have a situation where the structure of the groups has several levels.

When accessing Level 1, the cutomer wants to display a list of subgroups instead of the list of products collected from all subgroups of the parent group.

I am using Rapido 3.0 and DW 9.5. Is there any way I can accomplish this by changing a setting? Or a template?

You need to change templates. Or talk the customer into another approach - always showing products, and introduce a group filter on the left navigation.

Hi Nicolai,

I ended up changing the templates.

The customer wants to keep the way they currently present groups on their website: https://www.allmedia.sk/rucne-naradie-a-nastroje/

I know it's gonna require some template tweaks but I cannot argue with this request. It makes sense and a lot of similar solutions already support it.

Maybe you should consider adding this view to default Rapido.

Hi Adrian

Why would we consider that? Is it because it works better in converting visitors into customers or because someone for no particular reason wants that (pre-historic) ecommerce naviagation?
