Showing a color indicator along with/instead of "Primary Color" etc.

Have not started using Rapido yet, so could be that I am wrong - but I´m pretty sure I saw this at the summit last week. I am referring to the dropdown selector on paragraph, where the color selectors are only text, and no indication of the color.

It´s ok with the naming on website settings, but once it is used in a paragraph, it would be really useful to have some sort of color indicator (small square with the color), instead of just showing the name "Primary Color" etc.

It´s not very easy for the editor to keep track of what is what color, if it´s only text.

Hello Hans,

Actually it was a special Rapido feature to show text options instead of color-selector boxes in a paragraph color settings dropdowns. I've asked our Product Management to look at this point again. Will return back to you soon when get the reply.

Thank you very much for your question.

Hi Hans

We agree that it is not the best user experience and makes it a bit hard. Therefore this is also on the roadmap for the next Rapido and Dynamicweb release to introduce a new way of handling colors. That would be a new color selector that inherits selectable colors from the website settings and a way of finding colors based on a few specified brand colors.

Thank you for the input.

BR Nicolai
