Digital assets

Hi,

In the PIM website of Rapido, the "Digital assets" page shows the content of a folder. By default, only image files are shown. What can I do to show all the files? (PDF, DOCX, XLSX) I don't find any option in the backend to do it.

An alternative would be using the File Publishing module, or to create a folder item (https://doc.dynamicweb.com/forum/templates/templates/file-publishing-a-list-of-items), but these options have no file Filters.

Thanks
Tom

Any ideas about it?
I should specify that the intention is to take advantage of the ready-made Rapido PIM setup. I tried modifying the File repository without success (the FileindexBuilder includes all the files, but only the image files are displayed in the page), and the other options I tried (folder item, file publishing) has less features than the original setup.

So the questions are:
1) How is it possible to show all the files according the current Rapido-PIM configuration?
2) If it is no possible, what would be the best alternative?

Best regards,
Tom

Hi Thomas,

This seems to be a bug in the feed template for the Digital Assets page. I have created the bug (TFS#54570).

I have attached a new version of the template, which you should fix the problem, so other files than images should be displayed in the Digital Assets page.

You should just replace the file 'Templates/Designs/RapidoPIM/QueryPublisher/FilesJSON.cshtml' with the one I have attached. The only 'problem' is that we don't have a way to create thumbnails of .docx and possibly also other files types, so you don't get a Thumbnail image.

I hope this helps you.

Best regards,
Steffen

Thanks, Steffen!

I should think that the template could be the cause of the problem.

The link to the new version of the template is broken, can you send it again?

Hi Tomas,

It looks like the Download page doesn't support CSHTML files. You can get the file by Right-clicking the link, and press 'Save link as'. Then you should get the file

Steffen

It doesn't work, neither the "open link" or the "save link as" menu.

Maybe you can copy the code in the post, or link a zip file.

Tom
