Hi Gerard - you cannot on the version of Rapido you have. You need an upgrade or some modifications to your template...
Sorry about that, Nicolai
Hi Nicolai,
What do I need, 9.4.16?
Best regards
Gerard
You need a new Rapido... 2.1
Hello Nicolai,
The ISTwente website runs on 2.1 but it still doesn't work.
If I select No Ecom template the page gets empty.
BR. Gerard
2.1 removes the need for using the no ecom template. Instead go to website settings and disable Ecommerce.:
https://doc.dynamicweb.com/rapido/configuration/website-settings/no-ecom#7147
I tried but it doesn't seem to work.
However, I also don't see '@Model.TopPage.Name' in my select options.
Hi Gerard
It does not seem like you have updated rapido on this site. It seems like you have upgraded Dynamicweb, but not Rapido. The timestamps on your template etc. are from may - Rapido 2.1 is from June.

BR Nicolai
I will check it at Innovadis Nicolai, thanks for now.
BR. Gerard
Hi Nicolai,
We updated rapido and it still does not work. Am I doing anything wrong?
BR. Gerard
Yes you are, hard to tell what - if you tell what is wrong, we might be able to tell you what to do.
We can also assign a ressource to get it up and running for you - but it would be a payed ressource.
Let me know, Nicolai
Hi Nicolai,
I selected the No Ecom template as you can see on attached picture.
After that I expect it to work but newspages still have Ecom layout.
BR. Gerard
Hi Gerard
In Rapido 2.1 the NoEcom template is dead - you should not use it anymore as mentioned in my previous post.
So you have to use the regular template and disable ecommerce using checkboxes - please refer to the manual:
https://doc.dynamicweb.com/rapido/configuration/website-settings/no-ecom
BR Nicolai
Hi Nicolai,
We can't select the correct template as mentioned in the manual on the website settings (see attachment). We selected the old one and that works fine on normal pages, but not on the news items.
I did the update this morning to rapido 2.1.1. See the template file that is in the rapido 2.1.1. package.
Or do I miss something?
BR,
Manon
Hi Manon
If you read the read box in top of the link specified you have the answer...
You should simply select the Page.cshtml template - and configure appropiately.
BR Nicolai
Hi Nicolai,
I did not look at the red before, now I did and followed the instructions in the link, but I can't find the navigation items with the check boxes in the website settings.
Even my colleage did take a look but can't find it eather. Or is it in another area that is not written in the manual?
BR,
Manon
Hi Manon
Rapido is a set of templates and some item types - its pretty basic. To Upgrade simple do this: Upgrade to newest Dynamicweb version, Copy /Files from a new Rapido to another Rapido, reload the item types (or reset IIS), go to website settings and click save and close and you are good to go - go to the frontend, do a hard refresh - voila. That's how we do it, and how we test it. It is described in a bit more detail here: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/rapido/download/information/upgrading-rapido
Looking in the filemanager of this solution reveals some things that is worth investigating. For instance, there is a lot of template subfolders in the root of /Files, and looking into the /Files/System/Items folder also indicates that it has not been updated correctly - the timestamp of the item type "websitesettings" is "Thu, 03 May 2018 07:26" which is not the new Rapido file - that would have a timestamp of june 26th - which we already discussed further up this thread...

Hi Nicolai,
I updated the website right tuesday after your post. The bug was fixed, but the frontend looked totally different. Then I set the bakup back, because it was the end of the day and we didn't had time to change all the settings then.
But now the it should be as it was before, but the colours and letter types are different as it was before. The strange thing is that they are right in the website settings, but don't show in the frontend.
Can you please take a look at it. I also mailed it to the support.
BR,
Manon
Hi Nicolai,
This is a bit urgent, yesterday we posted the summit case on social so we have lot of traffic these days.
It's a pity those viewers don't see the site on it's best :-(.
Hope to hear from you soon.
BR. Gerard
Hi Guys
Rapido is compilling Less files into CSS when you save the website settings.
Since you upgraded, new less files have been added to /Templates/Designs/Rapido/css/rapido/* folders, and you have not deleted them when you downgraded.
So delete the entire folder, and upload the version you want.
Another time it might be a benefit to read the manual and follow the steps - it would have saved us all a lot of time...
BR Nicolai
Hi Nicolai,
I did what you say and that seems to work.
So everytime we do the update we have to delete these files?
BR,
Manon
In Templates/Designs/Rapido/Css you need to delete all and copy new versions. Problem is that they are less files and gets recompiled - all less files in css/Rapido folder with variables and additional files that might be wrong because of the version change. Usually this is only an issue on downgrades.
Also always make a copy and do a test upgrade on that!
BR Nicolai
Hi Nicolai,
We did de update but now the carousel is not working anymore. The images showing all under eachoter in stead of sliding in a carousel.
Is this a known problem in rapido 2.1.1.? How can we fix this? For now I deleted the 3 images en only show one.
Hope to hear from you.
BR,
Manon
There is no known issue.
I'll have to pass this website over to our support department - and you can let them handle the update of this as we spend much more time trying to help you instead of just doing it...
