I have 2 questions about the newsletter subscription:

- How can i change the text for this in the footer (see attachement)

- How can I make a form for it in the website (not in the footer), see attachement for an example how it needs to look.

Hi Gerard

Sorry about the late response.

@1: The footer text can be changed in the translation dialog. See dump #1

@2: That looks pretty custom - but you have 2 options. Use the User management module to insert af signup form - see https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/users/user-management/extranet#sideNavTitle1-3 or a "forms for editors" and combine it with "Create user on form submit" https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/content/apps/forms-for-editors#6136 on the paragraph settings.

Hello Nicolai,

I would love to do it with the "forms for editors", but I cannot find the User Management in the CMS.
Can you please tell me where I can find it?

Hi Gerard

The forms for editors can be found the "Apps" section. See manual: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/content/apps/forms-for-editors#3312

Hello Nicolai,

Thanks for your reply. I know were the forms for editors are but I don't see the User management settings as mentioned in picture 14.1 and 14.2 on https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/content/apps/forms-for-editors#3312

Hi Gerard.

It is on the paragraph settings - on the paragraph where you use the form. Scroll to the bottom. See attachment from your site.

Hello Nicolai,

Thanks so much for your help. I made the settings for the form on https://istwente.azurewebsites.net/istwente (see attached).
But unfortunately I won't end up in the newsletter group after filling in the form.
Perhaps I forgot something stupid, could you please take a last look for me?

Best regards
Gerard

It seems like you have specified the email field to be the signup button - see dump.

Change that to be the email field, and it should work.

They are in :-)!

But without E-mail permission :-(
(see screenshot)

Can you tell me how to change that?

Yes - create a checkbox and map it to the user field "Email permisson" in the "Values" dialog.

If you do not want a checkbox where the user should say "Yes, sign me up" (also think GDPR here), you can actually just map the "Signup" button to that field - a bit hacky but possible.
