As a product manager (PM) working in PIM (or Ecom), i need to relate products using Related Groups.
For some specific relations, i need to specify information the relates to the specifik Product Group relation only.
Example:
I have a specific machine that has a long lifespan such as several years.
During that period of time, this machine changes characteristcs,, from the manufacturer, and as such the list of available spare parts, accessories and other related products may depend on a specific model number, serialnumber and/or date interval.
For that i need a set of custom fields in the Product Relation Group in with i can uphold f.ex. dates, modelnumber(s) or any other value on wich i as a PM can identyfy the correct related product in my PIM.
As a system administrator, i must be able to define custom fields on the Related Groups entity as i can today on the Product and product Group and i should also be able to define the asscociated field on the product that will be used to filter the Product Relations e.g. year, model, ser.no.: etc.
