Have anyone used MS's Application Insights with an locally hosted Dynamicweb (not in Azure)?

I have got the browser part working, since it is just a script. But not sure how to get the server side monitoring working.
They have some nuget packages, and some alterations in web.config, but not sure where to start regarding DW.
Just want to know if anyone got it working, and if it is easy to implement.
